We're all familiar with Neil Armstrong's famous line as he set foot on the moon, "That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind, etc." But did you know that immediately afterwards, he said, "Good luck, Mr Gorsky."
The meaning of this latter remark remained a mystery until 1995 when Armstrong explained that, as a child in Ohio, he'd heard their next-door neighbour, Mrs Gorsky, shouting to her husband, "Oral sex! You want oral sex? You’ll get oral sex when the kid next door walks on the moon!"
Unfortunately, this is just an urban myth. The truth is, the story was invented by comedian Buddy Hackett for NBC’s Tonight Show, but it makes for such a great story I had to give it one last run.
