No Janet Jackson didn't actually BEAT Paris Hilton but internet search engine Lycos says the record for the most searched event over a one-day period has been beaten as Janet Jackson received 60 times as many searches as the Paris Hilton sex tape and 80 times more than Britney Spears.
The previous record was previously held by the September 11 attacks on America.
