"One Way Traffic" emailed me yesterday with a question about reciprocal oral sex.

She writes...

I'm a 20-year-old girl in a relationship with a 23-year-old guy. We don’t have full sex as I want to save myself for my wedding night, but we do indulge in plenty of heavy petting and lately, oral sex.

While "Steve" enjoys it when I give him a blowjob, he's always reluctant to go down on me.

Should oral sex be reciprocal? if so, should I stop performing oral sex on him until he reciprocates? Will I lose him if I do so?

My view on this is pretty simple. While I don't think that because you perform oral sex on your boyfriend he should perform oral sex on you, I DO think it comes back to being considerate to your partners sexual needs and desires.

If you're happy to give "Steve" a blowjob he should be willing to reciprocate by giving YOU pleasure in whatever form YOU enjoy. Hell, he might even want to consider giving YOU pleasure FIRST!

My advice? Talk to him about it before it gets out of hand.

Now, if you think you'd lose him if you withdrew your oral sex services, then your relationship probably doesn't have a lot going for it in the first place.
