I've had a few emails lately asking about my favorite blowjob positions.

I've always enjoyed blowjobs more when both I and the giver of the blowjob were physically comfortable. It's much more fun if you DON'T end up with a sore neck or back.

I think it's best to experiment until you find a position that works well for both participants. Now this often depends on where you are at the time (you know you can't really lay back comfortably in an elevator). If in a confined space like an elevator, broom closet, airplane rest room etc., you might want to kneel before your man with him standing.

If you have a bit more room and privacy you can try seating your partner and crouching between his legs (try placing a pillow under your knees for even more comfort).
