See, my view with the writer's outlook is that flying is an unnatural act too. If we were meant to fly we would have been given wings right? 
In my humble opinion... the thing about human beings is that we LOVE to seek out new experiences. We yearn to grow, both as individuals and as couples in relationships.
Quite often that growth will come from the urge to try new things and push the boundaries of our own beliefs and expectations. (imagine being the first person to eat a raw oyster!)
